MA in Theatre and Community, BA in Stage Design, Lisbon Theatre and Film School. Fashion Design Course, Lisbon Fashion School.
Ana Paula Rocha made her debut with José Peixoto, with Il Campielo, at Teatro da Malaposta, in 1997.
She has collaborated with Artistas Unidos and theatre directors such as Solveig Nordlund, Cláudio Hochman, Rui Mendes, José Peixoto, Rodrigo Francisco, Paulo Sousa Costa and Paulo Lage, among others.
For television, she has worked on several sitcoms.
In film, she was the art director for Gelo, Luís Galvão Teles, A Filha, A Morte de Carlos Gardel and Espelho Lento, Solveig Nordlund, the latter having won the award for best drama on the 6th edition of The NYC Downtown Short Film Festival. With Margarida Gil, she worked on Sobre o Lado Esquerdo, O Fantasma do Novais and Perdida Mente (Mind Loss), which won the Best Foreign Screenplay Award at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival.
In the theatre, she has designed sets for over 60 performances, as well as costumes, for theatre companies such as Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, Teatro da Trindade, Companhia de Teatro de Almada, Teatro dos Aloés and the Yellow Star Company, among others.
