Carlos Nuno Lacerda Lopes, Architect and Teacher at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto. He wrote the doctoral thesis Projetos e Modos de Habitar (Projects and Ways of Living), which he presented in 2007 at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto. CNLL Architecture, following his vision and endless desire to experiment, mirrors his values, methodologies and quality criteria, as well as his idea of architecture, in which Man is seen as the central figure of the constructed space, in an eternal appeal to the senses.

With vast professional experience working in different scales, dimensions and complexities, Carlos Nuno Lacerda Lopes has come to develop countless landmark projects, both in Portugal and abroad.

From institutional projects to collective and individual housing; from corporate, commercial and service spaces to industrial areas; from urban equipment to urban planning; from set designs for productions at the National Theatres and for Television, or through furniture, product and equipment designs, it becomes clear, beyond the entrepreneurial and innovative aspect of his work, that he shares a new understanding and dynamic that creative professionals come to learn today, which gives them a privileged position as agents transforming and creating new spaces, places and desires.

Throughout his activity, he has shown his work in individual and collective exhibitions of Architecture, Design and Scenography, for which, along with his activity as an architect, he has received several awards. His work has been published in both Portuguese and international media.
