Born in Braga, in 1976. BA in Scenography from the Theatre course at ESMAE (School of Music and Performing Arts, Porto, 2001) and Specialist in Scenography/Theatre from ESMAE (2012)
Marta Silva has created sets and/or costumes for Theatre and Opera, for directors such as Ana Tamen, António Feio, António Durães, Alexei Chipenko, Alfredo Martins, Álvaro Correia, Denis Bernard, Catarina Costa e Silva, José Caldas, Marcelo Lafontana and Rui Madeira, among others. She has worked for several collectives and production companies in Portugal, as well as some international venues.
She teaches scenography and is the scenography coordinator at ESMAE since 2002.
